In addition, all platforms in our range meet all European Certified quality and safety standards.
Versatile and compact, a Stannah platform for wheelchairs can be installed on straight or curved stairs, indoors or outdoors, and does not require a machine room, as is the case with traditional lifts - the platform lift folds away so that other people can use the stairs as they wish.
They ensure the correct position of the user within the safety perimeter of the platform’s base. They fold away completely so that other users can use the stairs while the wheelchair platform is parked.
The control panel includes control buttons to steer the platform. Through the remote control, you can get the platform for wheelchairs to your floor or send it back to its own charging point.
Our platforms include safety sensors that detect any obstacle on the stairs. Distributed around the platform lift’s base, these sensors bring the wheelchair platform to a gentle, but immediate stop.
