How does a residential lift work?
A Stannah residential lift consists of two vertical rails and an enclosed cabin that moves up and down. Stannah offers indoor lifts that can carry up to two standing people and a model for wheelchair users.
What is the difference between a Stannah home lift and a conventional lift?
Unlike a conventional lift, a Stannah home lift moves on two guides fixed to the wall and does not require a pit in the floor. The space below can be safely used when the cabin is on the top floor.
Can I install a residential lift in my home?
Yes, a Stannah indoor lift can be installed in almost any home. Once you contact us, we will arrange a suitable solution, estimate, and home inspection once we have an agreement.
Do Uplifts elevators use a lot of electricity?
No! Our elevators are energy efficient. Each trip uses about as much energy as boiling a kettle.
How much does a small elevator for homes cost?
Unlike a conventional lift, a Stannah residential lift is cheaper and easier to install because it operates without a pit or external machine room. The price of a domestic lift depends on the installation location, the options you wish to install and the specific needs of those who will be using it.
